"Paige Love had a great game for us both on offense and defense," stated Asheville coach Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick. "We got off to good starts in each half, and I wish we had sustained them long but it was good to get a win today."

Love was 6-of-8 from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Manley did a nice job scoring inside as she was 8-of-12 from the field.

Sickles didn't score but did have three blocked shots. Blaylock had four of the Bulldogs' 13 steals.

The Bulldogs led 29-23 at halftime but quickly built on the lead early in the second half thanks to Love. She knocked two treys early in the half to help the home team build a 45-31 lead. Columbia could get no closer than 12 the rest of the way as Asheville snapped a four-game losing streak.
