Dear Bulldog Friends and Fans:
Student-Athletes choose UNC Asheville for two reasons: the chance to receive a nationally ranked Liberal Arts education and work with the Bulldog coaches and staff to compete for Big South Conference Championships. To sustain this relationship, we must continue to recruit, retain, educate, and graduate student-athletes who will succeed in the classroom, in the athletics arena, and in the community. The key to recruiting these individuals involves the availability of scholarships and first class facilities. We are developing Champions in Athletics, Leaders in Life.
UNC Asheville Athletics has enjoyed success both on and off the playing field. What makes these achievements even more impressive is that the Bulldog Athletics Department operates without state funding. We want to have the same opportunities as our competitors so that we can compete for conference championships and NCAA playoff berths. We need your help to make this happen. In order to meet our responsibilities to these talented, dedicated Bulldog athletes, the athletics department must raise funds to not only increase the amount of scholarship money we can offer but also to improve our facilities.
We are inviting you to join a dedicated group that is committed to helping our student-athletes realize his or her goals and achieve success in the classroom and in athletic competition. One hundred percent of your investment will provide financial assistance to our student-athletes through scholarships and will ensure the continued growth and success of our sports programs through facilities upgrades.
Please consider making a contribution to the UNC Asheville Foundation – Athletics. If you have any questions or need more information, please feel free to call me at (828) 251-6922. The confidence in knowing your investment will be maximized is one reason why investing in the Bulldogs is a good idea. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your consideration and investment in the future of our student-athletes.
