Champions in Athletics, Leaders in Life

The mission of the Bulldog Athletic Association (BAA) is to provide the scholarship funds necessary to support UNC Asheville's 189 student-athletes. Our goal is to raise the $1.2 million dollars annually that would fulfill our maximum number of NCAA-allowed scholarships.

For the Fall Semester 2012, 59% of the Bulldog student-athletes earned a 3.0 GPA (4.0 Scale), and 5 had perfect 4.0's.  The cumulative GPA of the Athletic Department is now over 3.0.

Your gift enables UNC Asheville to recruit and retain student-athletes who will succeed
in their sport, in the classroom, and serve as an engaged member of the community.

After graduating, our alumni use the skills and education earned here, along with
the discipline and dedication gained as athletes to be exceptional in all they do.  

We are committed to developing champions in athletics and leaders in life.
