LEXINGTON, Ky. - The UNC Asheville indoor track and field teams began competition at the Rod McCravy Invitational at the Nutter Fieldhouse on the campus of the University of Kentucky on Friday.


Highlighting the Bulldogs efforts on Friday was a third-place finish from Courtney Henry in the long jump. His leap of 6.47 meters put him in front of 13 other participants.


Kevin Paradise finished 12th in the 5000 meters with a time of 12:43.


Adrian Etheridge came in fifth in the 5000 meters on the women's side as she posted a time of 18:01.


Ashlei Clodfelter took 17th in the long jump at 4.52 meters.


Most of the Bulldogs will participate on Sunday as action begins at 10 a.m.
