LEXINGTON, Ky. - Junior sprinter Milan Ristic finished second and fourth to highlight the UNC Asheville indoor track and field teams performance at the Rod McCravy Invitational at the Nutter Fieldhouse on the campus of the University of Kentucky on Saturday.
Ristic took second and finished just behind Ohio State's Demoy Bogle in the 60-meter hurdles. Ristic had a time of 7.91 against a very good field.
He took fourth in another strong field in the 200 meters as he posted a time of 21.84.
Sarah Gentry continued her good season with a strong third-place finish in the 800 meters. She finished with a time of 2:12.
Ryan Catrine had a strong effort in the 3000 meters with a time of 9:02. He came in 10th place.
The Bulldogs are in action again next weekend (Feb. 1-2) at the Hilton Garden Invitational in Winston-Salem.
