ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women’s tennis team finishes up its home schedule on Wednesday when the Bulldogs host Presbyterian College at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown starting at 2 p.m. Admission is free.

Prior to the match, the Bulldogs will honor senior Zoe Hamel. The native of France is playing her final home match for the Blue & White. She has been Asheville’s #1 player the past three years. Hamel will graduate with honors in May and has earned a fellowship at the University of Vancouver in Math starting in September.

She’s enjoyed an excellent senior and has a 9-8 singles record entering this week’s action. Zoe has teamed up with Ericka Rivero to go 12-6 in doubles action at #1 flight.

Asheville (12-10, 2-5 BSC) needs one more win to clinch a winning season for the second straight year. The Bulldogs would like to snap a frustrating four-game losing streak on Wednesday. Asheville lost a tough 4-3 decision to Campbell on Saturday.
