ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women’s tennis team stayed unbeaten on the young season with a 7-0 win over visiting Lees-McRae Sunday afternoon at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.


The Bulldogs are 2-0 on the season, while the Bobcats fell to 0-1. Lise Gregory's club has won both of its matches by 7-0 scores.


The Blue & White won all three doubles matches and only lost three points in the matches. In singles play, both Christine Boissevain and Lauren Brooker won their matches without losing a game in two sets.


Asheville is back in action next Saturday (Feb. 1) when the Bulldogs host Wofford at the ARC.
