Since the Wilma M. Sherrill Center opened in 2011, Rocky Mascot has spent a lot of time learning about healthy living from all the groups that share his new home.

As he finished up the fall semester and looked toward the New Year, he knew what he had to do.  Rocky got in touch with his official Health Insurance Provider, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, and resolved to stay active, stay healthy, and become a happier bulldog.

Man, has it paid off! Rocky Mascot has worked so hard over the break that it's like he's a new bulldog.  Coach Eddie Biedenbach said, "I haven't seen Rocky this happy in years. He looks just great!"

Athletic Director Janet Cone thanked Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina for all the support that they provided Rocky in his journey to becoming more active and healthier. Rocky is so proud of his accomplishment and can't wait to show you his new look.

Be sure to be at the men's basketball game vs. Radford on Saturday at 2 p.m. to see the new healthy happy Rocky! Be sure to keep up with Rocky on Facebook and
