ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's swim team will have its final home meet of the season on Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. when the Bulldogs host North Carolina A&T at Justice Center Pool. Admission is free.
The Bulldogs (2-5) look to build some momentum for the Coastal Carolina Swimming Championships that will be held next month (Feb. 21-23) at Athens, Ga.
"We are looking forward to our final home meet of the season against conference opponent North Carolina A&T," stated Asheville coach Elizabeth Lykins. "The Bulldogs will use this meet as another tune-up prior to conference championships, only four weeks away."
Asheville performed last weekend at Georgia Southern. Alessandra Troncoso captured the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:06.55 and the 200 Breaststroke as she posted a time of 2:24.71. The Bulldogs lost to Georgia Southern, 146-100.
