ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis picked up its third victory of the year with a 7-0 triumph over visiting Mars Hill College Sunday afternoon at the Asheville Racquet Club.

 

The Bulldogs (3-1) won the doubles point and then claimed all six singles matches to earn their second straight victory.

 

Asheville's second and third flight teams earned the doubles point. Emily McNall and Christine Boissevain at #2 flight and Amryn Soldier and Gilliam Lewis at #3 flights both won their matches by a score of 8-2.

 

The Bulldogs won five singles matches in straight sets. Zoe Hamel, Erickia Rivero, Boissevain, Soldier and Lewis all won easily. McNall won in three sets over Anna Rickenbaker of Mars Hill.
