ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's tennis team picked up a 6-1 victory over visiting USC Upstate Saturday afternoon at the Asheville Racquet Club.
The Bulldogs (4-2) picked up doubles win at #2 and 3 flight to grab a 1-0 lead. Asheville dominated the singles match as it won five to pick up the non-conference victory.
Adrien Langeard, Matt Waissen and Daniel Kripak won in straight sets at #1, #2 and #3 flight. John Schubel won in straight sets at #5 flight. Freshman Brett Landau won a tie-breaker in a third set 10-8 to complete the Bulldogs victory.
Asheville is home on Sunday when the Bulldogs host Tennessee Tech at 3 p.m.
