ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men’s tennis team starts a big week on Wednesday when the Bulldogs travel to Presbyterian College for a key Big South Conference battle starting at 2 p.m.

On Thursday, Asheville travels to Gardner-Webb and on Sunday, the Dogs head to Winthrop.

The Bulldogs (9-6, 2-3 BSC) hope to get some wins this week in league play to try and move up in the league standings. They’ll have their hands full with a solid Blue Hose (15-9, 2-3 BSC) team that upset Asheville in last year’s Big South Tournament, 4-3.

Senior Adrien Langeard continues to play well for Asheville at the #1 flight with a 10-3 singles record. John Schubel has maintained an 8-4 singles record at #5 flight.

The doubles team of freshman Alex Croker and Brett Landau have posted an 8-3 record at #3 flight.
