ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women’s swimming team returns to Justice Center Pool on Saturday morning when the Bulldogs host Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association Rival Georgia Southern starting at 10 a.m.
Asheville evened up its dual meet record on Saturday with a comfortable 167-76 victory at Lenoir-Rhyne last Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs dominated the meet from start to finish as they won 13 of 14 events.
The Blue & White should have a tougher meet on Saturday as Georgia Southern has a 3-1 worksheet. The Eagles downed Asheville last year in Statesboro, 146-100.
“We are looking forward to racing again,” stated Bulldog coach Elizabeth Lykins. “The team has been working hard since our return to campus in the new year and has made some solid strides. We expect a lot of close races against a talented conference opponent in Georgia Southern.”
