BOONE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women’s tennis team looks to stay perfect on the young 2014 season when the Bulldogs travel today to Appalachian State for a 3 p.m.


Asheville is 3-0 on the season and off to its best start in more than 10 years.  The Mountaineers are 0-2 on the year but have lost to Wake Forest and ETSU.


The Bulldogs lost to ASU last season at home, 7-0.


Asheville has been dominant in its first three matches and lost only one game. The Bulldogs have been perfect in doubles action and four different players are 3-0 in singles matches on the season.
