ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men’s tennis team opened Big South Conference play with a 7-0 victory over visiting Longwood Saturday afternoon at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.


The Bulldogs (4-5, 1-0 BSC) was able to win the doubles point by winning the second and third flights. Asheville controlled singles play by winning five matches in straight sets with only Alex Croker having to go three sets to win at #3 singles.


The Blue & White will go for its third straight victory this Friday (March 7) against King College.
