ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men’s basketball team took some time off the court last Saturday (March 22) to participate in the Rotarians Against Hunger "Meals for the Hungry” program.

The Bulldogs went down to the Reuter Center YMCA that afternoon and worked with other volunteers to help package more than 215,000 meals for distribution within the Western North Carolina region to families who need food.

“Our guys were pleased to help out with the Meals for the Hungry program,” stated Bulldog coach Nick McDevitt. “It was a great experience for them to help others in our community.”
