CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UNC Asheville senior women's soccer player Amanda Dailor has been tabbed the Big South Women’s Soccer Attacking Player of the Week for the opening week of the season.
Dailor scored a goal in each of the Bulldogs’ two non-conference wins last week. Against Chattanooga on Friday, she tallied her first goal of the season on a header in the 18thminute to put UNC Asheville ahead, 1-0. On Sunday at USC Upstate, Dailor netted the only goal of the game when she converted on a corner kick from teammate Kaitlyn Eckert in the seventh minute.
The Bulldogs are 2-0-0 on the young season and will play again this Friday against Wofford at Greenwood Field starting at 3 p.m.
