ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis team dominated Mars Hill in both singles and doubles action to pick up its second win of the season as the Bulldogs downed the Lions, 7-0 Sunday afternoon at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.
The Bulldogs (2-2) won all five singles matches that were played. Highlighting singles action was Devon Cavanaugh winning her match at #5 flight, 6-0, 6-0. Zoe Hamel, Emily McNall, Amryn Soldier and Christine Boissevan all won their matches in straight sets.
In doubles action, only two matches were played but they were both won by Asheville.
The Bulldogs are in action next Saturday at home against Wofford at 3 p.m.
