CONWAY, S.C. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis team lost its first Big South Conference match of the year on Saturday as the Bulldogs fell at Coastal Carolina, 7-0. 

 

Ashevillle (9-4, 2-1 BSC) lost three close matches in doubles to give the Chanticleers the doubles point. CCU controlled play in singles as it won five matches in straight sets. 

 

Asheville is back in action on Sunday when the Bulldogs travel to Charleston Southern.
