ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville Athletics Department will be welcoming back former Bulldog student-athletes this Saturday.


A reception will be held in the Laurel Forum in Karpen Hall on Saturday from 4:30-6 p.m. honoring the school's alumni that make it back to campus on Saturday.


Saturday will be a busy day for the Bulldogs as all five fall sports teams will be in action at home. The men's and women's cross country teams will host a home meet. The meet takes place at Asheville Christian Academy in Swannanoa starting at 9 a.m.


Both Bulldog soccer teams are home at Greenwood Field hosting key Big South Conference matches. The men's team takes on Winthrop at Noon, followed by the women's team entertaining defending league champion Radford at 2:30 p.m.


The volleyball team finishes the day with a contest at Justice Center starting at 6 p.m. against defending Big South champ Liberty.


Following the volleyball match, alumni are scheduled to gather at Buffalo Wild Wings on Tunnel Road for more fellowship and fun.
