Three years ago, UNC Asheville built and opened the Wilma M Sherrill Center, and we are in a fundraising drive to build outdoor venues. Along with building facilities, we together are building a fan base and traditions. We need your help to build the kind of game day atmosphere that we all can be proud of.
The UNC Asheville Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is forming a fan experience committee to discuss the needs of Bulldog fans with the hopes of enhancing the fan experience at its events.
This is a great opportunity for UNC Asheville fans to have their voices heard. The Bulldog Fan Experience Committee is established for fans to provide valuable input to the athletic department on various topics.
The committee will be comprised of approximately 20 members including fans, alumni, faculty and students, season ticket holders, corporate partners, community members, and department administration. The group will meet quarterly with the first meeting taking place in early August.
Topics of discussion will include UNC Asheville branding, pregame activities, in-game activities, season ticket holder benefits, student engagement and communications.
To apply, fans have to be at least 18 years of age. Each member will be expected to bring notes and ideas to be presented at each meeting in an open discussion forum. The application deadline is Friday, June 27th at 5 p.m.
