ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Thirty-five student-athletes at UNC Asheville received their diplomas at graduation ceremonies that the school held Saturday morning on the campus quad.
The 35 graduates represent 21 percent of Bulldog student-athletes that competed this year. Twelve of the graduates earned department distinctions for their work in the classroom, while four earned the distinction of university scholar and two earned the distinction of university research scholar.
