Grace is from Blue Ridge, Virginia but will be living in Asheville this summer to work out with strength coach, Omar Ahmad. Besides getting physically ready for her last season of basketball, Grace will be completing her internship with Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC), where she will be clinically shadowing at the family medicine center. She will also be conducting interviews of physicians and helping with the production of MAHEC's annual report. After graduation next spring, Grace aspires to attend medical school somewhere on the East Coast.
During her time at UNC Asheville, Grace has been actively involved in the community together with her teammates. They have volunteered their time at Eliada Homes and with the Girl Scouts. They have also worked with Special Olympics. Grace and the women's basketball team believe their biggest contribution to the Asheville community has been their time with the North Carolina Rescue Ministries serving food to the homeless.
