ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women 's soccer team is back in action Saturday evening when the Bulldogs attempt to win their first Big South Conference match of the year at Presbyterian College starting at 7 p.m.

Asheville (1-9-0, 0-2-0 BSC) has been off this past week after a 3-2 loss to VMI last Sunday afternoon at home. The Bulldogs trailed 2-0 at halftime and 3-1 and almost came back before falling to the Keydets.

Asheville picked up goals from Amanda Knapp and Mary Beale in the VMI contest. It was Knapp's first career goal. She also added an assist. Beale picked up her second goal of the season.

The Bulldogs hope to stay unbeaten against the Blue Hose. Asheville has won both of its matches against PC and both were by scores of 3-0. However, this will be the first time the Bulldogs have ever played in Clinton, S.C. Both victories by Asheville came at Greenwood Field.

Saturday's match starts a three-game road swing for the Bulldogs, all in the state of South Carolina. The Bulldogs play at Charleston Southern and Coastal Carolina next weekend.
