CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The UNC Asheville women’s soccer team is back on the road Sunday afternoon when the Bulldogs take on their third straight team from the Southern Conference as they’ll face Chattanooga at Finley Stadium starting at 2 p.m.

Asheville (2-2) looks to snap a two-game losing streak when it faces the Lady Mocs (1-2).

The Bulldogs lost a frustrating 2-0 decision at Appalachian State Thursday evening. Asheville out-played the Apps for the majority of the night but could put the ball in the back of the net.

Chattanooga is coming off a 3-2 loss at Alabama State last Sunday afternoon. The Lady Mocs knocked off Tennessee Temple on Aug. 30, 5-0.

This is just the second meeting between the schools. Asheville downed UTC 6-1 in the 2007 season behind two goals from Robyn Busha at Greenwood Field.

Amanda Dailor leads the Bulldogs in scoring with a goal and an assist for three points. Asheville’s defense has allowed just four goals in four matches.

The Bulldogs return home on Wednesday (Sept. 11) to face Mars Hill at Greenwood Field starting at 5 p.m.
