CULLOWHEE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's and women's track and field team competed at the Western Carolina Invitational Friday evening.
The Bulldogs took just a partial team to Cullowheen on Friday as Asheville will compete in next week's Big South Conference Championships at VMI.
Highlighting Asheville's performance was Ashlei Clodfelter in the triple jump. She finished second with a jump of 10.21 meters.
Clair Powell took fifth in the 5000 meters with a time of 20:09. Jennifer Black came in eighth (20:58). Shelby Loot took ninth in the 800 meters at a time of 2:38.
On the men's side, Adam Schnapp took eighth in the 5000 meters at 17:28.
