CLEMSON, S.C. - Sarah Gentry set a new personal best in the 800 meters when she ran a time of 2:12.14 and finished in fourth place at the Tiger Track and Field qualifier.
"I'm really proud of Sarah. She's had a great year and keeps on improving," stated Bulldog coach Jesse Norman. "Sarah ran a great race tonight against some tough competition."
Other highlights included Natalie Pearson qualifying for the finals of the 100 meters on Saturday. On Friday, she turned in a time of 11.62 and finished in fourth place. Pearson will run in the finals Saturday afternoon.
Emma Bussard took fourth in the 3000 Steeplechase with a time of 10:56.
Milan Ristic competed in the 110 Hurdles and finished with a time of 14.41.
Competition will continue at Clemson starting Saturday morning.
