DES MOINES, Iowa - UNC Asheville's Natalie Pearson takes to the starting block at 6:30 p.m. EDT today at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Des Moines, Iowa. Success in today's 200-meter heat would earn Pearson a spot in Saturday's nationally televised finals. Live streaming video of today's race is available.

Pearson is hoping her experience will make a difference this afternoon. One of only five seniors among the 24 women competing in the 200-meters at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championship, Pearson is making her second trip to the nationals.

The 24 student-athletes in today's 200-meter women's race are competing for spots in Saturday's national final. Live streaming coverage from the NCAA of all of today's track and field events from Des Moines can be seen through this The 200-meter heats are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. EDT. Saturday's final, slated to begin at 1:41 p.m. EDT, will be televised live by CBS.
