CHARLOTTE - The UNC Asheville men's and women's track and field squad placed one person on the Big South All-Academic team for each sport. The Big South Conference made the announcement of the All-Academic teams earlier this week.
On the men's side, senior Jeremy Harn made the 10-person team. Jeremy competed this season in both the shot put and the discus. He will graduate next week with a degree in Political Science.
On the women's side, junior Corey McClintock earned a spot on the 10-person team. Corey competed in the hammer throw this year. She finished second at the Appalachian Open two weeks ago. McClintock is majoring in Chemistry.
