Langeard Named Big South Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (BigSouthSports.com) - UNC Asheville's Adrien Langeard (Caen, France) has been selected as the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played April 9-15, it was announced today by the League office.

Langeard won two singles matches at the No. 1 position and two doubles matches in the No. 2 spot to help the Bulldogs pick up two important Conference wins and move into second-place in Big South standings.  In the 6-1 win over Presbyterian, Langeard and partner Thomas Rees defeated William O'Connell and Andrew Brigham, 8-6, before Langeard topped Grayson Mills, 6-2, 6-4.  Against Coastal Carolina on April 14, he paired up with Rees to knock off Matias Di Pasquale and Yusuke Kusuda, 8-5, while also taking the No. 1 singles match against Danny Heidecker, 6-1, 6-1.
