Men's Tennis Has Three Honored by Big South Conference

ROCK HILL, S.C. - The UNC Asheville men’s tennis team had three players honored at the Big South Conference awards banquet held on the campus of Winthrop University on the eve of the league championships that start on Thursday.

The Bulldogs had two players earn all-conference honors in singles. They are Adrian Langeard,and Matt Waissen. Langeard posted a 12-4 record in singles action this season, while Waiassen went 11-8.

Asheville had one representative make the Big South All-Academic team as Thomas Rees made the team.

The Bulldogs open play in the championship Thursday morning at 10 a.m. when they take on Gardner-Webb.
