BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men’s tennis team plays two matches in two days in two different sites this weekend.


The Bulldogs are in Buies Creek this morning to take on Campbell in a key Big South Conference battle starting at 10 a.m. Asheville has an 8-5 worksheet on the year and is 2-2 in league play. The Camels are 9-5 overall and 4-1 in BSC play.


On Saturday, the Bulldogs return home to host North Carolina Central at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown starting at Noon. The Eagles are 1-7 on the season but have played a tough schedule with matches against Duke and UNC Chapel Hill.


Asheville is paced by Adrien Langeard with a 9-2 mark at No. 1 and is followed by Daniel Kripak and John Schubel with seven victories each. Posting a perfect 4-0 mark and 7-2 overall record for the Bulldogs in doubles play is Alex Crocker/Brett Landau at No. 3.
