“This is a great victory for Brett,” commented UNC Asheville coach Tom Hand. “He played against some outstanding competition this weekend and came out on top. This experience will only help him this fall and next spring.”

Landau and Perrigan knocked off Logan Reid (Stetson) and Cody Paulsen (FSU) in the first round, 8-1 on Sunday. Later that day, they defeated Drew Akins and Morgan Stone, 8-2.

On Monday, the duo stunned eighth-seeded Grayson Goldin (FSU) and Josh Wordall (Florida), 8-4 to reach the semifinals.
