BOILING-SPRINGS, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis team finished up its fall season with some solid results at the Gardner-Webb Fall Invitational this past weekend. The Bulldogs competed in the tourney with USC Upstate, Gardner-Webb and Western Carolina.


Three different singles players for Asheville went 2-1 in their respective flights. Emily McNall went 2-1 in Flight 2. Christine Boissevain went 2-1 in Flight 4, while Gillian Lewis went 2-1 in Flight 6.


In doubles action, the duo of Christine Boissevain and Emily McNall posted a victory in Flight 2.


"We had some good results this weekend,' commented Bulldog coach Lise Gregory. "We made some progress throughout the fall, and we look forward to the spring season that will be here soon."
