BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Gardner-Webb won the doubles point and earned four singles victories en route to a 5-2 Big South Conference women's tennis victory over visiting UNC Asheville Wednesday afternoon.


The Bulldogs (7-6, 1-2 BSC) picked up a singles win at #5 when Christine Boissevain outlasted Rokia Sacko in three sets, 4-6, 7-5, 10-8. Gillian Lewis won at #6 by default.


Asheville is back in action this Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. when the Bulldogs host Big South-leader Charleston Southern at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown
