ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women’s tennis team picked up another win on Friday as the Bulldogs downed King University Friday afternoon, 7-0.


Asheville raised its record to 8-3 on the season with the victory over the Tornados. The Bulldogs won the doubles point by winning all three matches and losing only three games in the process.


In singles action, Asheville dominated with Gillian Lewis, Lauren Brooker and Hunter winning their matches by the score of 6-0, 6-0.


The Bulldogs are in action again next Saturday when they play at Coastal Carolina in a key Big South Conference match.
