ASHEVILLE, N.C. - A red-hot Gardner-Webb women's tennis team posted four singles victories in en route to a 4-0 Big South Conference win over homestanding UNC Asheville Wednesday afternoon at the ARC.
The Bulldogs (6-11, 0-4 BSC) battled hard against a Runnin' Bulldog squad that has won six straight matches with Wednesday's win.
Due to rain in the Asheville area, singles was played first and once GWU had clinched the matches, doubles was cancelled.
Asheville is in action this weekend on the road for a pair of league matches. The Bulldogs travel to Liberty Friday and Radford on Saturday.
