ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women’s tennis team will play its final regular-season match of the year on Saturday when the Bulldogs travel to Radford an 11 a.m. match
Saturday’s match will decide fifth place in the final Big South Conference league standings. Both teams have 3-5 BSC worksheets. Asheville has clinched a winning season with an overall record of 11-8. Radford has an overall mark of 9-11.
The Bulldogs clinched a winning record with a 7-0 home victory over Presbyterian College on Wednesday afternoon.
Emily McNall and Erica Rivero lead Asheville in singles wins with 12. Zoe Hamel and Rivero have teamed up in doubles to post a 13-6 record at #1 flight.
The seedings for next week’s Big South Championship at Gardner-Webb will be announced Sunday evening by the league office.
