CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) - UNC Asheville's Anna Moore has been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Player of the Week in volleyball, for matches played Oct. 17-23, the League announced today.

Moore, a sophomore from Raleigh, N.C., put away 26 kills on .310 hitting to lead her squad to a 2-0 record in Big South play last week.  She got her week started with 13 kills, a .242 attack percentage, six digs and a two blocks in Asheville's 3-1 win at Charleston Southern on Oct. 21.  The next day at Coastal Carolina, the right side hitter found the floor for 13 kills and a .400 kill percentage, to go along with five blocks and four digs as the Bulldogs downed the Chanticleers, 3-0.  Moore accounted for 3.71 kills per set during the two-match span.
