CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Close to 56 percent of UNC Asheville's student-athletes have earned a spot on the Big South Conference's Presidential Honor Roll that was announced today by the league office. To be named to the Presidential Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better for the recently-completed academic year. Asheville's student-athletes had the third highest percentage in the league.

A record-number of 95 Bulldog student-athletes made the Honor Roll this year. Baseball and women's soccer led the way with 17 student-athletes each maintaining a 3.0 GPA or above.
