ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville Bulldogs will take on Arkansas Little-Rock Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the opening round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The announcement came this evening as the Bulldogs and more than 300 fans watched the Selection Show at the Grotto in the Highsmith Union.

The game will be the first one played in this year's NCAA Tournament. Tuesday's game will be televised by TRU-TV. A Bulldog victory on Tuesday would send them to the first round of the tournament against top-ranked Pittsburgh of the Southeast Region in Washington, D.C. on Thursday.

Asheville (19-13) will carry a six-game winning streak into Tuesday's game. Arkansas Little-Rock is a member of the Sunbelt Conference and won the tournament. UALR has a 19-16 overall record.

TruTV is located on Asheville Charter Channel 47. It is also on Direct TV 246 and Dish Network 204.
