ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's basketball team hosts Campbell Friday night at Justice Center starting at 7:30 p.m. The Big South battle will be video-streamed and can be seen for a small fee at www.uncabulldogs.com.

Friday's game will be a tribute to the 1980's and fans are asked to dress up in their favorite 1980's clothes. Admission will be free and fans will get a free popcorn and free soft drink.

The Bulldogs (7-20, 3-13 BSC) look to snap a frustrating nine-game losing streak against Campbell. The Lady Camels are 16-11 on the season overall and have a 9-7 BSC worksheet.

Injuries have riddled Asheville's line-up as freshman forward Leah Wormack has been out with a knee injury and is doubtful for Friday's night action.

The Bulldogs lost at Liberty Monday night, 84-53. Asheville battled the Big South Conference regular-season champs on even terms for much of the first half until the Lady Flames went on a 28-0 run to sieze control of the contest.

Freshman guard Shonese Jones continues to have a great rookie season for the Bulldogs. Jones is averaging 15.2 points per game, while senior guard Lindsey Thompson is averaging 10.9 points per game.  Thompson scored her 1,000th career point in Asheville's last home game against Winthrop on Feb. 13. She'll be honored prior to the game.

Campbell defeated Asheville in Buies Creek back on 82-62. The Camels led by 20 points at halftime only to see the Bulldogs make a couple of runs in the second half.  CU tied a school-record with 13 three-pointers in the game.

Tonisha Baker leads the Lady Camels on the season at 13.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, while Katelyn Bass tallies 11.1 points and a team-best 6.8 boards. Jazmine Cooper also averages double figures at 10.1 points per game, adding 5.9 rebounds.

Asheville finishes the regular season back at Kimmel Arena Monday night when the Bulldogs host High Point at 7 p.m.
