2009: Pitched in 19 games and earned three starts on the season...went 1-2 and picked up win in relief against SoCon power College of Charleston (4-25)...tossed two innings in that game allowing just one unearned run on two hits...top game was 3.1 innings of scoreless relief vs. ETSU (3-17) as he scattered three hits and struck out three...had solid start at Furman (2-24) with five innings pitched and only two runs allowed...struck out 34 hitters in 50.1 innings of work...led team in saves with two...earned a save at VMI (3-22) with three innings of work...picked up second save vs. Furman (4-8) at McCormick Field with two innings of work.  

2008: Appeared in 15 games and made two starts...had a 1-2 overall record...earned his first collegiate win at Radford with 2.2 innings of shutout pitching (4-27) in relief...allowed just one hit and struck out three in the game...pitched two scoreless innings of relief against Akron (3-1)...tossed 1.1 innings of scoreless relief against Big South champion Coastal Carolina (3-19)...struck out 17 hitters in 27.1 innings of work...had season-best four strikeouts in first career start at Gardner-Webb (2-26).  

Before UNC Asheville: Posted a 2.28 ERA with 80 strikeouts in 59 innings as a senior earning All-Conference honors and team MVP honors...at the plate, led his team with a .397 average and a home run...also lettered in basketball.
