Men's Soccer Loses to Georgetown 2-0

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Big East power Georgetown scored a goal in each half as the Hoyas outlasted UNC Asheville 2-0 in the Davidson Invitational Sunday afternoon at Davidson Field.
Georgetown (3-1-1) got a goal from Seth D'Debacha at 24:53 on a shot from 25 yards out for a 1-0 Hoyas' lead.
The Bulldogs (1-3-1) hung in there thanks to the goalkeeping of Lassi Hurskainen. He made nine saves during the game to keep Asheville in the match.
The Hoyas sealed the victory on a goal from Chandler Diggs at the 81:18 mark. He scored on a breakaway.
Georgetown out-shot Asheville 28-10. Bryan Bartels came off the bench and had three shots.
The Bulldogs are home Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. when they take on USC Upstate.
