Fernandina Beach, Fla. – The UNC Asheville women's golf team completed the Amelia Island Collegiate at the Amelia National Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon. The Bulldogs finished in 18th place.

Asheville's Kellen Alsip led the way for the Bulldogs, carding a 238 (82-79-77) for the three-round tournament. Adelyn Deery (239), Rebecca Black (240), Linna Brooks (240), and Janie Thomas (244) also competed for UNC Asheville.
BULLDOG BITES
FIGHTING FINISH: The Bulldogs improved their team score by one stroke in round three. As a team, the Bulldogs finished with a score of 956 (327-315-314).
TOP TEAM SCORE: Mercer University finished first in the team standings. The Bears shot a team score of 873 (297-286-290) and finished (+9) as a team.

TOP FINISHER: Annelie Sjoholm of Campbell claimed individual medalist honors by shooting a three-round total of 210 (-6).
