Final Full Day in Costa Rica for UNC Asheville Men's Soccer Concludes a Truly Memorable Trip for the Bulldogs

Our last full day in Costa Rica started off with a competitive double elimination soccer tennis tournament between all the players. The winners Joe LaCasto and Frank Morales didn't lose a single game and got rewarded with small surfboard souvenirs for their effort. After spending a brief amount of time admiring the beach and eating lunch we took off for a long bus ride back to San Jose. On the way we stopped for a short but extremely unique and somewhat terrifying experience as we stood about 50 feet above at least 20 visible crocodiles. Watching the crocodiles interact with each other and the environment was truly special and a memory we definitely will not forget. After we arrived back at the original hotel we enjoyed another great dinner where we thanked many of the staff that helped manufacture our tour. We then spent the rest of the day relaxing by the pool and hot tub as our amazing Costa Rica experience came to a close. This trip created extremely special memories and bonds between all of us, and we are unquestionably already a better team for experiencing this new culture together.Â
