WILMINGTON, N.C. - Senior forward Keith Shevlin scored twice as five different Seahawks scored goals in UNC Wilmington's 6-3 win over visiting UNC Asheville Sunday at the UNCW Soccer Stadium. It was the most goals in a game for a Seahawk squad since the 1999 season.

The Seahawks built a 4-0 halftime lead as junior defender Russell Bienias opened the scoring, just 1:23 into the match, heading home a corner kick by senior midfielder Will Clark. A goal by senior midfielder Adam Currey pushed the lead to 2-0 at the 5:04 mark.
Senior forward Sam Leger extended the lead to 3-0, at 19:35, with his sixth goal of the season setting a new career-high.
Shevlin made it 4-0 in the 31st minute after knocking home a loose ball. Early in the second half he headed in his second goal of the match to make it 5-0 Seahawks.
Freshman forward Scott Szymanski notched his third goal of the season to cut UNCA's deficit to 5-1. Syzmanski received a pass from junior defender Chris Burn and chipped in the goal from 10 yards out.
